As long as you’re familiar with the fundamentals of puzzles in Minecraft, though, this is a map that you should be able to eventually make your way through.
The gameplay is pretty straightforward as there aren’t any complex elements to the map but it’s definitely worth highlighting that some of the puzzles can be quite challenging and you’ll need to bring your best if you hope to make your way through them. You play the role of someone who’s been wrongfully imprisoned and now the only way you can clear your name is by escaping the prison, returning to your safe house to collect evidence, and then taking this to the authorities so that they can clear your name. The gameplay of Prison Escape, as you can tell by the name, revolves around escaping a prison. Puzzle maps are usually a delight to play but they’re often held back by the uninspired and stale settings that they usually take place in, thankfully, Prison Escape doesn’t have this particular issue so it’s a map that you’ll enjoy from the first minute to the last. Prison Escape is an enthralling puzzle map that takes the tried and true experience that puzzle maps have always been renowned for and elevates it to the very next level by adding a variety of creative gameplay features to the mix and, of course, by giving players high stakes setting to immersive themselves in.
